Four policemen have been martyred in a twin suicide attack in Bara Bazaar of Khyber tehsil compound. According to the police, an explosion occurred near the main gate of the police station in Khyber’s Bara Bazar, after which heavy firing was also heard in the area.

The terrorists tried to enter the tehsil compound containing Bara police station, CTD cell and government offices but failed.
 As a result of the explosion, 8 people were injured who were shifted to a nearby hospital for immediate medical assistance, where 3 policemen succumbed to their injuries.
It appears to be the handiwork of TTP. The insurgent violence has resurged since the Taliban returned to power in Afghanistan in August 2021, as all U.S. and NATO troops withdrew from the country after two decades of involvement in the Afghan war. It’s time to retaliate and eliminate the perpetrators and  facilitators wherever they are.
