Balochistan

1. Security forces in an IBO killed six terrorists during exchange of fire in Sambaza area of Zhob district (1st November).

2. Security forces killed two terrorists and injured two others in an IBO at Khoro area of Awaran district. However, during exchange of fire two security force personnel – Subedar Asif Irfan and Seppoy Irfan Ali embraced martyrdom (1st November).

3. Five personnel including four labourers and a Constable Hassan were killed in an attack by a group of unidentified terrorists on Naseerabad Police Station in Kech district (2 November).

4.. Fourteen security forces personnels were martyred in a terrorist attack on their convoy which was on move from Pasni to Ormara in Gwadar district (3 November).

5. A group of unidentified terrorists shot dead Naseebullah Khan Achakzai a known businessman and leader of Pakhtoonkhawa Milli Awami party (PKMAP) and took away his car in Bilelu area, outskirt of Quetta (11 November).

6.  CTD police killed four terrorists during exchange of fire in Kanak area of Mastung district (11 November).

7.. A group of unknown terrorists repirtedly attacked Singani Sermon police post and kidnapoed three police personnels alongwith their weapons on gun point in Turbat (15 November).

8. A group of unknown terrorists boarding in a pick-up vehicle attacked Levis force personnel in Ghazan area, near Dalbadin in Chagi district. It resulted in injuries to the three security personnel (17 November).

9. Unknown armed motorcyclist shot at injured two persons – Talib Hussain and Baseer outside Cadet College Peshin (17 November).

10. Unknown terrorists hurled a grenade on police mobile van In Monjo Shirin area of Naseerabad. The police personnels in it, however remained safe except slight damage to the vehicle (17 November).

11. Unknown shooters in a targeted attack martyred Police Constable Ghulam Murtaza on Hanna Bypass in Zarghoon area of Quetta (19 November).

12. Three persons were killed when their car hit a roadside IED planted by terrorists in Hoshab area of Kech district. The deceased persons included two brothers – Adil, Shahjehan and Nabi Dad (19 November).

KPK

1. Five people were killed, and twenty-one others wounded in a bomb blast targetting a police mobile van in Dera Ismail Khan city (2 November).

2. Security forces killed three terrorists and injured three others in an IBO at Tirah vellay of Khyber district. However, during exchange of fire four soliders including Lt Col Muhammad Hassan Haider, Naik Sherdil, Naik Rafiq, and Naik Abdul Qadir embraced martyerdom (4 November).

3. Security forces killed two terrorists and injured four others in exchange of fire in Ursoon area near Pakistan- Afghanistan border in Chitral district (7 November)

4. unidentified shooters shot at injured one Wahidullah Shinwari and his minor grand daughter in Mukhtarkhrl village near Landikotal in Khyber district (8 November).

5.. Unidentified terrorists martyred Police Cnstable Muhommad Nawaz and injured another in a targeted attack near Sharoz Bridge in Hangu district (9 November).

6. Unknown assailents shot dead one Ikram Khan in Inyat Kallay Bazar in Bajaur district (9 November).

7. Unknown kidnapoers martyrered three police personnels – SHObA dulvAli Khan, Constable Wahab, Constable Muhammad Alam and injured five others including DSP Chan Shah in Kari Shah Noor area of Tank district (11 November).

8. As a result of remote controlled IED blast one Abdul Rehman sustained injuries in Ghaki area of Bajaur district (11 November).

9.  CTD police claimed to have arrested four money launders allegedly affiliated with ISS/Daesh including an Afghan national identifies as Sultan under cover of a trader and recovered handsome number of various countries foreign currencies from their posession (11 November).

10. Unknown terrorists martyred a wireless operator police constable Muhomnad Jameel in Kalachi area of Dera Ismail Khan district (12 November).

11. Security forces killed a terrorist in exchange of fire in Mirali area North Waziristan district (12/13 November).

12. Security forces in an IBO killed seven terrorists during exchange of fire in Kili Machankhel area of Tank district (14 November)

13. Unknown shooters martyred a wireless operator police constable Sharfiuddin on Tank-Wana Road in Tank district (14 November).

14. Unknown assailants shot dead two persons identified as Malik Kamil Khan and Malik Zaner in ta targetted attack on their car in Barang area of Khar tehsil in Bajaur district (14 November).

15. Security forces killed four terrorists including a high value target Samiullah @ Sami, Sulman, Imran and Hazrat Umar @ Khalid in Badaber area of Peshawar (15 November).

16. Unknown assailants after kidnapping police constable Farmanullah killed him. His body was found near village Land Ahmedkhel village in Lakki Marwat district (17 November).

17. Unknown shooters shot at injured a local contractor Abdul Rasheed in Dag Kalla area of Bajaur district (17 November).

18. Security forces in an IBO killed four terrorists including a high value target Ibrahim @ Mousa in exchange of fire at Kohisoor area of North Wazirstan district (18 November).

19. Security forces killed two two terrorists in exchange of fire in Kalachi area of Dera Ismail Khan (20 November).

20. Security forces killed one terrorist in exchange of fire in Azam area of South Wazirstan district (20 November).

21. As a result of IED attack on a military convoy, two soldiers – Lance Naik Badshah and Lance Naik Sajid Hussain embraced martyred in Razmak area of North Wazirstan (22 November).

22. One person was killed while a car samashed in an IED blast in Maminzo area in Khar tehsil of Bajaur district (22 November).

Three children, including a girl, lost their lives, and four others were injured when a mortar shell, with which the children were playing exploded in a mountainous area near the Sada Bazaar in Kurram district (25 Nov). Those who died were identified as Gul Rahim, Muhammad, and Sadiqa.

Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in general area Sararogha, South Waziristan District, and killed eight terrorists. The slain terrorists were involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces as well innocent civilians. The security forces also recovered arms, ammunition, and explosives from their possession (26Nov).

Two civilians were martyred, while seven civilians and three soldiers injured in a suicide attack on a convoy of security forces in Bannu district (26 Nov).

Comments & Analysis: There are strong indications that this terrorist act was planned and executed by Hafiz Gul Bahadar group, based in Afghanistan. A motorcycle-borne suicide bomber, affiliated with Hafiz Gul Bahadur and later identified as an Afghan national conducted this attack. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned a representative of the Afghan Embassy in Islamabad where Pakistan strongly condemned the suicide attack and demanded the Afghan interim government to take swift “verifiable actions” against all terrorist groups and their sanctuaries. The envoy was also asked to arrest Hafiz Gul Bahadar and hand him over to Pakistan. He was also asked to prevent Afghan soil from terrorism against Pakistan.

Hafiz Gul Bahadur is the leader of a Pakistani Taliban faction based in North Waziristan. Law enforcement agencies claimed that a document recovered from the scene of the attack identified the perpetrator as an Afghan citizen. The attacker was carrying ‘Tazkira,’ the identity document for Afghan citizens, as per official sources.

Punjab

1. Security forces foiled the attack of a group of nine terrorists on PAF Mianwali Training Base by killing all of them during exchange of fire. However, during the course exchange of fire, three nonoperational aircrafts were slightly damaged. A self porclaimed outfit Tehreek Jehad Pakistan reportedly affiliated with defunct TTP claimed responsibility for the attack (3 November).

2. Unidentified shooters martyred Police Sub Inspector Rizwan Mahboob and injured three others in the targetted attack at Shanda Lond area of Dera Ghazi Khan district (11 November).

3. Unknown shooters shot dead Dr Zeeshan Anwar, Associate Professor of CMH, Kharian and injured another doctor in a targetted attack on their car at GT Road, Gujrat (14 November).

4. CTD police claimed to have arrested seven alleged terrorists including the defunct TTP commander Salman during separate raids in various districts of Punjab. The arrested persons were identified as Musa, Khalid, Nadeem, Akmil and Yasir Yaseen (20 November).

Sindh

1. In separate incidents unidentified assailants reportedly shot dead one Muhomnad Umar an employee of a sensitive institution in Nazima and mouzan Raheem Ullah in Orange area of Karachi (11 November).

2. Police in a tip-off raid recovered two brothers, who were kept hostage for six million rupees ransom in Yar Muhammad Goth, Asjani Road, Karachi for ransom and arrested alleged kidnappers Riaz Ahmed and Ijaz who are linked with Ayub Tengani gang of Katcha area located inside of the Sindh province (18 November).
